How to create and import machine data

Steps involved in importing machine data are as follows.

1. On the menu, scroll to Maintenance and then select "Machines" 

2. Click on the +New button

3. Add the machine code

4. Add the machine name

5. Click Save 

* Machine code must contain alpha numeric values

Machine data can also be imported using the Common import option as bulk. Bulk import, allows users to import data in large quantities at once, making it a more efficient method for adding or updating data. 

1. Select the import option on the left of the screen.
2. Select "machines" option from the Import Item drop-down menu.
3. Click Select a file option and choose the relevant machine data file from the computer
4. Click save option.
