Steps involved in importing Layouts data are as follows.
Scroll to "Layouts" on the menu
Click on the Upload button
Choose the relevant Layouts data file from the computer.
Click Save option
*Total SMV- Total minute value of all the operations.
*Balancing capacity- Number of pieces need to be produced after balancing the line.
Layouts data can also be imported using the Common import option.
Select the Common import option on the left of the screen.
Select the "Layouts" option from the Import Item drop-down menu.
Click Select a file option and choose the relevant Layout data file from the computer.
Click save option.
After importing the layout, open the layout and select the option "Generate Skill Suggestions".
This results in an update of the skill database as the skill is being generated
Initially when a layout is updated the system will not show any skill for the respective operations. Therefore the “Generate skills” option must be used in order to update the skills from the skill database. The skill database contains all the historical data of the skill.
At this point the system will show:
The fully matched skills - This shows all the skills that are fully matched with the historical data available.
Suggestions - If any skills are mismatched the system will suggest similar skills to be applied to this skill.
New skill - If the skill needed is for a new operation, then the User can add this operation to the database through the system.
