How to Create a Route

Effective route planning is essential for optimizing travel time and fuel efficiency. Here's how to manage routes in the system:

1. Navigate to the Routes menu to view existing routes.

2. To create a new route, click the "+ New Route" button.

3. In the New Route form, enter the required information:

   1. Route Code: A unique identifier for the route

   2. Route Name: A name for the route

   3. Distance: The total distance of the route

   4. Default Charge (LKR): The price of a route

4. Click "Save" to add the new route to the system.

5. To edit an existing route, select it from the list and use the "Update" button on the Update page.

6. You can also remove a route from the Route menu if it's no longer being used.

Well-planned routes contribute to passenger satisfaction, punctuality, and overall operational efficiency.
